Cory S Powers was born and raised in Cobb County, Georgia, and now lives in Sarasota on Florida's Gulf Coast. Powers, his wife, and their five kids all moved to the city so they could be closer to family.

When he isn't working, the talented athlete, football fan, and Georgia Bulldogs fan enjoys playing and watching sports. He also loves working out, fixing furniture, doing things with his family, and spending time in the great outdoors

Current Role & Duties

In his job at Jackson and Associates, the company's Project Manager of operations for South Florida is in charge of a variety of tasks. These duties include coming up with and putting into action operational strategies and keeping an eye on day-to-day business activities. This includes everything from managing employees to handling schedules and dealing with customers.

Cory S Powers manages compliance with laws and rules elsewhere. The Georgian is good at selling, and he also helps the sales team in Jackson and Associates's South Florida region often. He uses his knowledge to make sure that his team meets its sales goals and that customer satisfaction levels are met or exceeded.

College History

Cory Powers grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and went to high school there before leaving the Atlanta metropolitan area for college. He went on to study at Ferris State University. The main Ferris State campus is in Big Rapids, Michigan.

In 1884, Helen and Woodbridge Ferris started the Big Rapids Industrial School, which became Ferris State University. It became a state institution in 1950, and a state university in 1987. Today, Ferris offers a wide range of educational opportunities that are all aimed at giving its students the best possible futures.

After leaving Ferris, Powers, who was born and raised in the Peach State, went on to improve his skills by studying different things and taking useful classes in his spare time. He is also a self-taught craftsman who loves building and fixing things and sharing his skills with others.

Charitable Involvement

Cory Powers is very involved with several important charities, non-profit organizations, and other good causes. That includes projects in Georgia, Florida, and other parts of the US. These four good causes are the Folds of Honor Foundation, Easterseals Community and Disability Services, Heifer International, and the Epilepsy Foundation of America.

Fold of Honor Foundation

Powers recently got involved with the Folds of Honor Foundation, which gives scholarships to military and first responder families. Folds of Honor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been around since 2007. It helps the families of disabled and fallen service members and first responders get access to important educational scholarships.

Easterseals's Community and Disability Services

Easterseals Community and Disability Services is another 501(c)(3) nonprofit where Powers is proud to give his time. He helps out often as part of the organization's Parent's Night Out Respite Program. Easterseals advocates for education and outreach services for people with disabilities that help them learn, live, and enjoy life in the community.

The Heifer International

Powers makes regular donations to Heifer International. Heifer International is a global non-profit organization that works to end poverty and hunger. It does this through sustainable, values-based, holistic community development around the world. This is in addition to giving livestock and training to poor communities.

The Epilepsy Foundation of America

Powers, which is based in Florida, also regularly gives to the Epilepsy Foundation of America. The Epilepsy Foundation of America is committed to leading the fight to solve the problems that come with living with epilepsy. It is also committed to speeding up therapies and other treatments to stop seizures and save lives, with the ultimate goal of finding a cure for the condition.

Personal interest

Cory S Powers has been happily married for 18 years now. He and his wife have four daughters and one son, ages 6 to 16 years old. The family moved to Sarasota, Florida, in June 2022 to be closer to family. That includes Powers's two brothers and his in-laws, who are now happy residents of the city, which is just south of Tampa on Florida's Gulf Coast.

Powers has a lot of hobbies and interests outside of his work and his tireless work for charity. Some of these interests are sports, travel, and exercise. He is a talented and skilled athlete, and he and his family take part in many sports activities. These sports activities include basketball, football, club volleyball, and soccer.

Powers has always cheered for the Georgia Bulldogs football team. He usually watches his team play in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Football Bowl Subdivision and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference. As a skilled craftsman, he also likes to build and fix different things, like furniture and other items.

He likes to go walking and spend time outside, especially on Sarasota's miles of fine sand beaches. The city's beaches, like Lido Beach and Siesta Key Beach, are famous for their clear, shallow waters and fine, white sand.
